This is all so sad to me. I was one of the people who jumped at the chance to preorder when it was first announced. People loved to hate on the design, but I feel like a lot of that was just them projecting their hatred of Musk over to the car. I loved the aesthetic and in a lot of ways, it seemed like a dream car for me.

By the time it came out though, Musk started supporting fascism, the price doubled, and the production quality issues took away all the appeal.

I'm not fond of Musk, but I can separate that from judging the aesthetics of a vehicle. The CT looks okayish from the front, but from the back it's an ugly bloated mess. Also it's just way too big of a vehicle for my taste. Like Hummers, I just have no desire to drive a vehicle that large.

It's smaller than an F150 Lightning. Sure, it's not for everyone, but if you want a truck that can haul large items or plywood sheets, it's reasonable.
