Do Google server business and Gemini (paid) belong to the "surveillance platform"?

I don't think so. And don't see a problem running GrapheneOS and using paid Gemini as long as the latter is properly separated. (This said, I use other AI atm).

They very definitely do. Everything you let Google touch is used for their ads and AI training, and is subject to flimsy government search requests. Their pinkie promises to respect your privacy are worth as much as the gum on the bottom of my shoe.
