The federal gov is essentially just entitlement programs for the elderly and the military, and all the wealth of the billionaires wouldn’t pay for it for even a year.

I think the parent comment is making a common mistake when it comes to taxing the ultra-wealthy.

We don't need to tax them to make up a shortfall; we need to tax them to remove their power to distort government in their favor.
