My hope is that you would not feature creep too much. Offering video conferencing feels like I should be paying more, but I don't need an office suite, I really just want the email service.

We don’t currently offer recovery by physical mail, but I understand why you’d want a way back in that doesn’t depend on another email account. Thanks for suggesting it.
I hear you on feature creep too. Email is our main focus, and keeping it reliable and simple comes first. The other tools are optional to use; you’re welcome to use FranklyMail just for email.

[**] At dreamhost, they require that I have a non-dreamhost account to which they can send recovery codes. This means I can be hacked if someone compromises dreamhost OR if someone compromises proton mail.
