For various reason, I also setup an Unbound who proxy to quad9 and is only accessible through DNS over HTTPS/QUIC and is behind a reverse proxy with auth (because being an open dns resolver on the internet is still a bad idea). This is nice because I can then have a dnsproxy or similar on my various devices, who all point to it and be pretty sure nothing can hijack my DNS queries. I also come with the benefit of forcing thing like a minimum TTL to avoid dumb services who decide to put a 10 seconds TTL to all their DNS entry...
