Ok, but I want my band saw to brick itself instead of cutting my finger.

I thought that was only a table saw thing.

Yes, that said I think you’d have to be pretty sloppy about safety to cut yourself with a regular bandsaw. I have a sawstop table saw and I don’t see the need for that on a bandsaw
