Completely off-topic, but here we go: look at how your site renders on a very-wide monitor. My browser (Firefox Desktop) is 2560 pixels wide, and 100% of your website content is on the right side of the screen. The column with the text is very "thin", it even needs horizontal scrollbars for the code. I've never seen a website where the left half of the screen is completely empty.

Sorry, then. I thought this was a bug, so I was "reporting" it. This style is so unusual that it didn't cross my mind someone would want it on purpose. (I have rewritten the previous sentence multiple times to try to make it not sound insulting, I hope it didn't)

With the exception of the code blocks, which I do agree the scrollbars are a bit annoying when there is plenty of vertical space available, I find no issue with the layout of the page on a wider screen. I think this is just a matter of taste, I enjoy the assymetrical negative space, though if I had designed it myself I would probably have the negative space on the right.
It uses some pretty weird css so hopefully it looks right :) Maybe I'll try and make it so the article column gets wider on very wide viewports but I'm sort of afraid to touch it.
