AI is enabling us to fix longstanding software security issues that nobody had the time, skill, or desire to find
All a matter of perspective, I suppose.

Time and desire are derivatives of money. Skill, too, largely, though less directly.
Should be something like:
> nobody is paying to find and fix
AI lowers the cost, but certainly doesn't eliminate it. I think we can hope significantly more technical debt will be paid off, but don't expect too much.
They've always had the first two to varying degrees - it's the desire that killed most motivation.
